National Farmers’ Day
On every 23rd December, National Farmer’s Day, we honor the invaluable contributions of farmers, the driving force behind our country’s sustainable economy. This day is dedicated to raising awareness of their rights and educating them on modern agricultural methods. We recognize and celebrate the essential role farmers play in shaping our nation’s prosperity and food security.
Women in Agriculture Day
Annually we celebrate Krushi Sampark National Women Farmers’ Day on 4th December. This year, our focus is on raising awareness among women farmers about mushroom cultivation and providing them with training. We aim to empower and educate women in agricultural practices, fostering sustainable livelihoods. Recognizing their crucial role, we strive to enhance their skills and knowledge for a thriving and resilient farming community.
Foundation Day
Our Foundation Day (4th February) is a joyous occasion filled with enthusiasm. Members and farmers unite to celebrate our commitment to the welfare and upliftment of farmers. This special day symbolizes our dedication to creating a positive impact on agricultural communities. Join us in commemorating our journey and reinforcing our pledge to support and empower farmers for a brighter future.
Akshay Tritiya
We celebrate the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya by worshipping Maa Lakshmi, the goddess of harvest, in the month of Vaisakh. Wearing new clothes, farmers sow seeds in their paddy fields after ploughing and perform puja for a bountiful harvest, wealth, good fortune, and prosperity. It’s a joyful occasion where prayers are offered for abundant blessings and success in farming endeavours.
